Boundary contract

Pressure-preserving, smooth Brinkman velocity relaxation with a stationary no-slip target. The box remains triply periodic.

BlueChips proprietary diagnostic layer

Signature fields · derived on the solved SU2-NEMO state

SU2-NEMO supplies the source field; BlueChips derives the diagnostics that are the point of this workbench: the compressible-depletion envelope and the pressure-forcing misalignment family. One click paints the viewer, the wall, and the legend. Every raw solver field stays available in the Scene dock.

Presets synchronize diagnostic points, wall surface, and legend. Eligibility keeps categorical wall classes and adds a continuous shock-evidence volume overlay.

DEFINITION Select a signature field to see its definition and formula.

NAV Select node · drag orbit · Shift-drag pan · wheel/pinch zoom · Home reset

The object and sampled velocity volume will appear here.

Select a visible point to orbit around it; with no selection, orbit uses the scene center. Shift, middle, or right drag to pan. Use the wheel or pinch to zoom from the farfield down to close surface inspection. Arrow keys orbit, Shift plus arrow keys pan, and Home resets the view. Camera navigation never changes model geometry or solver inputs. For a mesh, click the object to select it, choose Move, Rotate, or Uniform Scale in the viewport toolbar, then drag a handle. Axis handles follow DCC colors: red X, green Y, and blue Z. G, R, and S switch tools. Scale is always uniform, never per-axis.

Affects Show volume field only. Selecting a raw field reveals the volume points and hides BlueChips eligibility so its colors remain visible. Flow overlays, wall texture, and sections keep their own fields.
Volume sections
Exact retained-volume cuts · display-only · source nodes unchanged.
Isosurface Level set of any solver or BlueChips field, colored by a second field
Marching-tetrahedra level set on the solver's piecewise-linear representation. The Q-criterion default outlines rotation-dominated structure. A Mach level is a selected display isosurface, not a resolved shock surface.
Surface source status awaiting solved data
Limiting streamlines integrate the wall skin-friction vector on the exact display mesh; separation and reattachment lines emerge where they converge. Display-only; not certification evidence.
Framing only · native SU2 nodes
Directional streamline motion is on by default; clear Animate streamline direction to pause it. This presentation is not a particle trajectory or physical-time playback. Body ordering uses the normal painter depth of each native path segment. Vorticity lines follow a least-squares curl of velocity; near-shock node/context geometry is qualitative and has no path-local quality classification. Display-only tagged solver nodes plus connectivity-proximity context. Enabling this view also enables the diagnostic-node layer. It is not an interpolated shock surface, resolved thickness, or physical shock-distance measurement. Choose the scalar independently from its presentation. Raw solver-wall values remain exact; the reconstructed near-wall trend is display-only; depth lighting and feature edges are a separate presentation layer and never modify solver arrays. Manuscript-defined local eligibility reconstructed on native SU2 nodes; separate from solver scalar and vector fields. Isolates BlueChips markers and the object; hides SU2 volume points, velocity/vorticity lines and vectors, the farfield box, and transform handles. Existing layer choices are preserved.

Anchor comparisons against analytic references on preview-tier meshes, not experimental validation. Bands were pre-registered before any wave-1 run; no qualification grade is minted by a verdict.
